by This started with a 3AM wake up call. Yes you got that correct I decided I wanted to start getting into HO trains by waking up at 3am and making a crazy decision like that.
At that moment I started looking at YouTube videos of HO model train sets. And that confirmed my decision that I wanted to start this hobby.

Great question, I had new clue so I started by researching new train controllers and joining Facebook groups. I quickly found out that the new trains have Sound and you can control them with a controller remote. That got me even more excited. But I thought their had to be a better way, that is when I found out about DCC vs DC. Check out the next post for more info.
Well needless to say my interested was peeked and I decided it was time to move forward with this new hobby.
