by During my research I found their are hand help wire units that cost between $150 and $300. This was way more than I was interested in spending on this new hobby out the gate. I have used Particle Photon and Raspberry Pi’s before for automation. I thought someone has had to used something like that to control their trails. Well I jumped on my Facebook group and asked the question and was told to look into DCC++.
So DCC++ is a way of using and Arduino with a motor shield to control your DCC locomotives. So I did my research and decided this was the way to go a Arduino with a shield is about $45 and I can do so many other things with the Arduino felt like this was the way to go.
